Coach Mark Pottie is the Co-Founder of Launch Baseball and Vancouver Baseball Academy. He has spent most of his coaching career with the North Shore Twins in the BCPBL, where he served as Hitting Coach during two consecutive Provincial Championship seasons — including an unprecedented 50-3 season. His teams also claimed titles at the Can-Am Tournament and the Art Wright Memorial Tournament in Seattle. Later, as Head Coach, he led his team to a first-place finish in the regular season standings. Mark has also coached at the national level with both Team Nova Scotia and Team BC at the 15U AAA Canadian Nationals.

With more than 35 years of competitive playing experience and over 25 years as a personal trainer, Mark brings a unique blend of baseball knowledge and athletic training expertise. He has also coached his own son — a catcher and switch hitter currently playing in the BCPBL — giving him first-hand insight into the challenges parent coaches face at the Little League level. From working with players ages 5 to 18 to training national and professional-level athletes, Mark draws on his extensive experience in biomechanics and player development to help both parent coaches and players build the skills they need to succeed.
